Si è spento a Los Angeles, all’età di 84 anni, Dean Jones. L’attore, da tempo malato di Parkinson, è noto al grande pubblico per avere interpretato il ruolo dell’autista Jim Douglas nei film Disney “Un maggiolino tutto matto”, e “Herbie al rally di Montecarlo, e nei successivi adattamenti per la tv.
Nella sua lunga carriera Dean Jones ha girato oltre trenta film, tra cui anche una partecipazione in una pellicola italiana: “A spasso nel tempo”, diretta nel 1996 da Carlo Vanzina.
