Le imprese italiane che nel 2016 sono attive nella vendita di merce usate sono 3.553. Mobili e oggetti di antiquariato, in particolare, generano lavoro per 1.720 imprese, mentre sono 1.289 le attività addette alla vendita di indumenti e altri oggetti usati e 296 quelle che commerciano al dettaglio libri di seconda mano.
Secondo un’elaborazione della Camera di Commercio di Milano, Roma (10,7%), Milano (7,7%) e Torino (5,8%) sono prime in Italia, contando rispettivamente 379, 275 e 207 attività. Napoli (198) e Firenze (158) ospitano il 5,6% e il 4,4% delle imprese del mercato dell’usato.
